in the first level with the spinning block-things that move when the mouse does, it seems as though the reverse cursor is off slightly in correspondence to the actual cursor. is this on purpose or not?

This actually seems highly similar to that movie "One Missed Call" BTW.

But yeah, it was a bit short.
Graphics weren't that scary )tho they probably will be when the series goes on)
Lip-syching seemed off a bit, but that wasn't major. So it's K.

All in all it's a decent flash.

I'll watch for the second.

...here's a thought. What if, WHAT IF carolshki27 here was actually an ex gov't markswoman who was at the top of her class. One day she decided that she didn't like people who thought emos were faggots.

With that out of the way, I suggest you work on the image quality. Those looked like they were all .jpgs

.png is a whole lot better. Doesn't screw up the image.

Tho if Movie maker is what's causing the image's craptasticness, then there'sa not much I can do besides suggest investing in Flash/using methods the govt doesn't want you to use (Limewire, a website that just stating its existence in this space will get my account deleted, or any other unfit for public known use of).

I happen to have acquired it that way myself. never got around to actually using it tho. I'm a Pivot guy.

Having strayed off topic severely, let's get back.

The story is pretty good, and i think that if you do it rite, you can get WMM to use frames like an FBF animation. Poke around. the story is OK, could use an unexpected twist though. Like the planet breaks in half or something.

I dunno.

That didn't suck.

For a first flash, that was actually really good.
You must have spent some time trying to hone your Flash skills before trying to make a flash. Normally, 1st flashes are horribly animated stick figures that look like they were drawn by a 4 year old with autism and was blind. (This is a compliment).

You should try to make a sort of school-day for this. I actually expected it to keep going when the end hit.

And add a preloader.
